Professional Development Webinar: The Plagiarism Spectrum – Tagging 10 Types of Unoriginal Work
The Plagiarism Spectrum was developed as a guide to help students identify inappropriate uses of source material. This webcast examines a recent report published by Turnitin intended to move plagiarism beyond the black-and-white definition of “literary theft” to one that captures the nuances of how plagiarism can take shape in student writing. Join us on Thursday, September 20, from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. in the Professional Development Center, E. H. Butler Library 181B. Attendees are eligible to receive a free poster depicting the Plagiarism Spectrum. There was no opportunity to preview this webinar.
