Tell Students: Flu Vaccine Clinic Today

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone, especially those who have a chronic medical condition such as asthma or diabetes or who are currently on prednisone, receive a flu shot.

A flu vaccine clinic will be held today, September 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Weigel Health Center. Insurance companies that might cover the vaccine at this clinic are Independent Health, Univera, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Medicare Part B. Students must have their insurance cards with them. For all others, the cost will be $30 cash or check for the injection, $45 for the nasal spray.

The flu clinic is arranged through Weigel Health Center. Please contact Deborah Sarratori, ext. 6711, with questions.
