A Working Session: Advancing a Virtual Teaching Environment
Please join us for the online working session "Advancing a Virtual Teaching Environment" on Tuesday, February 5, and Tuesday, February 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
3-D worlds are potentially important tools that are likely to gain widespread adoption as colleges become populated with "digital native" students. The International Center for Studies in Creativity has conducted some initial experiments with a 3-D virtual teaching environment called Qube, which seems to offer an interesting combination of features that make it particularly appropriate for distance teaching, learning, and creative collaboration in various disciplines (below is a link to a YouTube link that describes the platform).
